Hazrat Mansur Kalimullah Muhammed Shah Makki (RA)

Hazrat Mansur Kalimullah Muhammad Shah Chisti (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was given khilafat by his Peer-o-Murshid (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) at the age of 19. Acquiring khilafat nama at the age of 19 showed his true ability to lead by example following the sunnah of Nabi-e-Paak Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa (S.A.W). Hazrat Mansoor Muhammad Husain Shah (R.A) had great confidence in the abilities of his eldest son Hazrat Kalimullah Shah Chishti (R.A). Hazrat was renowned for his perfection in all aspects both Spiritually and Physically. His (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) character was extremely noble and He (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) always conveyed the message of forgiveness, showing generosity to all his followers. 

After the blessed demise of his Father and Murshid Hazrat Mansur Muhammad Hussain Shah urf Chotumiyan (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ), Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) at the age of 28 became the chief Successor of the Tariqat and Khanqah Bazam-e-Chistiya in Hansot, Gujrat, India.  Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) admitted all sorts of people into the Tariqat, nobles and common folk, rich and poor, learned and illiterate. His most noted characteristic was that he treated everyone equally. 

Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) has successfully run Bazm-e-Chistiya for 36 years.  During his (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) leadership extensive works have been carried out to the Khanqah in Hansot expanding its boundaries, constantly striving to improve its appearance. Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) has carried out major works on Aastanas of Awliya Allah throughout the Indian Sub Continent. He (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) devoted his life towards beautifying the Darbars of Awliyah Allah and supported in whichever way possible, setting an example to follow for his Tens of Thousand Mureedeens. These similar projects are now being carried out by the younger brothers of Hazrat Kalimullah Bawasaab (R.A). Hazrat Pir Mohammed Bawasaab, Hazrat Dastagir Bawasaab and Hazrat Shamsuddin Bawasaab are still following the precedent set by Hazrat Kalimullah Bawasaab (R.A) by accomplishing work at the darbars of the Awliya Allah. 

 Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) visited the UK on a regular basis to continue giving his faiz and barakaat to his followers. He (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) Resided at the House of their Peer-bhai and Best Friend Hazrat Yusuf Ahmed Amiji Chisti Qadri Nizami Fakhri Azhari Mansuri Madani (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) who is buried in Jannat-ul-Baqi (12 May 2004 / 22 Rabbiul Awwal 1425). Their friendship and love for each other was of the highest level so much that even after wisaal Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) fulfilled his duties as a friend by completing the circle of love and brotherhood laying rest in the blessed city of Makkah – giving a new dimension to the term ‘Makki Madani’ for its Tarika members. Hazrat Yusuf Madani (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was given the leadership of Tariqat-e-Chistiya in the UK by their Peer-o-Murshid Hazrat Mansur Muhammad Hussain Shah urf Chotumiyan (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) would visit regularly to support his best friend (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) in the UK to help fulfil their Murshids (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) wishes. 

The UK’s Bazme Chistiya khanqah had sadly caught fire requiring a new place to carry out the practices shown by Hazrat Mansur Muhammad Shah urf Chotumiya (R.A). Hazrat Kalimullah Bawasaab (R.A) and Hazrat Shamsuddin Bawasaab vigorously began the search to find a new place. Hazrat Qibla Kalimullah Bawasaab (R.A) showed the blueprints of how to acquire a new khanqah for the UK tareeqa members. There onwards, after the demise of Hazrat (R.A), Hazrat Pir Mohammed Bawasaab and Hazrat Shamsuddin Bawasaab followed these steps and acquired a blessed place for the practices to continue. 

On March 28th 2015 Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) with five family members from India set off to Makkah Mukarramah to preform Umrah. From the UK a group of 24 Including both Hazrat’s family and tariqa members set off to meet up with Hazrat in the blessed city of Makkah al-Mukkaramah. On the Morning of April 1st 2015 they finished their last ziyarah and returned to the Haram Sharif prior to Maghrib Salah. He (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) watched the sun spread its cool rays on the pilgrims as it declined giving way to the Moon to shine its light upon them all. After Salah Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) called his family members both in India and UK sharing with them what was to be their final words.

The time for Isha Salah drew close and Hazrat’s (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) persona magnified in his silence. Beams of light were emanating from the heavens, to the extent that Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) even showed some mureedeen one star in the sky. The star shining bright may have been an angel awaiting orders to come pay their respect and give Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) the glad tidings of their reunion with their beloved. At 20.05 Azaan for Isha Salah echoed in the blessed city of Makkah and the Sacred Mosque (Masjid-al-Haram). Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) raised his hands for the last time in this mortal world spreading them across their illuminating face, his (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) head tilted towards the Qalb (Heart) as if in Muraqaba. The Tariqa brothers accompanying him (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) awaited in adab for him (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) to rise so they may follow in reading sunnah of Isha salah. Several moments passed and pilgrims around them had nearly completed the four sunnah of Isha. His (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) Middle son (Moinoddin Kalimullah Mansur) who was sat on Hazrats (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) right, lay his hands on Hazrats shoulder slowly, trying to gain their attention. Hazrat (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) fell into the arms of his son-in-law (Munnawwar Bhai) who was sat to his (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) left. The time of wisaal approximately 20:15 on the eve of Jumm-e-raat 1 April 2015 / 12 Jamada al-Thani 1436. The light that beaconed in Khandan-e-chistiya had left this Mortal world reuniting with his beloved. إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

After Maghrib salah, on Friday 3rd April, Ghusul was performed at a government ordained centre. The time for Isha salah had drawn close. Hazrat’s son Moinoddin Mansur and Hazrat’s eldest son Nizamuddin Mansur made the decision to commence with the burial procedure after Isha Salah. Hazrat’s  (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) blessed body  was taken to a local Masjid where after Isha Salah His  (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) Janazah salah was read by all the Tariqa brothers present with Hazrat Shamshuddin Yusuf Amiji. From the Mosque Hazrat’s Blessed body (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) was taken to Jannat-ul-Moala with sweet melodious praises of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) surrounding Him (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ). The Brothers reciting Salat-o-Salam in the midst of Makkah under the bright moon. The path way of Jannat-ul-Moala came close and Hazrat’s  (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) blessed body was directed towards plot 45, grave number 38. Family members entered the blessed resting place and made peace with the earth. With the Fragrance of Jannah in the air Hazrat  (رحمتہ اللہ علیہ) blessed body was laid to rest in his final worldly abode.
